We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Technical Manager to join our new team, who will be entrusted with the overall responsibility for the technical development and implementation of the company.
As Technical Manager, you will be responsible for the complete technical development picture of Hexest Materials AS, from design and selection of technical solutions to the start-up and stable operation of production. The role combines project management, technical leadership and responsibility for automation, waste water, building management, mechanical and electrical.
We expect you to be able to contribute to other projects and activities related to the establishment of the plant.

Your main tasks are:
- Shaping and implementing the technical vision and solutions of the company.
- Management and coordination of technical projects (plant, production lines, technology).
- Responsibility for the overall design and subsequent operation of building management, automation, mechanical, waste water and electrical systems.
- Working with designers, technology partners, equipment manufacturers and EPC partners.
- Validation of plant and production process design and technical solutions.
- Supporting commissioning, ramp-up and optimisation of production processes.
- Ensuring that technical solutions meet safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
- Leading the technical team and external partners and supporting the Board in technical and strategic decision-making.

We expect that you will have:

- previous experience in managing technical or industrial projects
- a good understanding of automation, mechanics and electrical engineering and their interactions
- project management skills and the ability to focus on both the detail and the big picture at the same time.

- good cooperation and communication skills with different stakeholders, including international partners.
- the ability to work in a challenging and evolving environment where everything is not yet finalised.
- very good knowledge of Estonian and English

- initially in Tallinn office, later in a factory in Hexest (outside Tallinn).
